This excellent example of the classic, long lived perennial has very large, double, fragrant rose-pink flowers. The inner petals are ruffled and have silvered margins. Blooms in early to mid-summer. Peony ‘Sarah Bernhardt’ makes a wonderful cut flower peony when picked in soft bud. Sun or partial shade loving. Any fertile, moist, well drained soil.
